Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Six questions—your gender, birthdate, health level, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you want, and the term length—are enough for carriers to send quotes. Your name, address, and medical details only come into play if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The rates displayed are what each carrier quotes for the health category you chose. Underwriting can confirm, improve, or adjust your category after they review your details. Nothing on this site is an offer of insurance or a guarantee of any price.

What happens when I click Apply?

Entering your name starts your application, which is prefilled from the quote you selected and continues on the carriers' secure platform. You can save and resume at any time, and signing is electronic. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, handles your application process.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on which carrier, how much coverage you are applying for, and the details of your answers. Most carriers offer accelerated underwriting for eligible applicants, meaning same-day decisions without an exam; each quote indicates what to expect for that carrier's product.

Is a longer term better?

A term should match the years your household depends on your income: while a mortgage is being paid, children are growing up, or a business loan needs covering. Longer terms lock the rate in longer but cost more each month. The quote tool lets you test 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options so you can see what works for your timeline.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool does not ask for contact information, we do not sell or share visitor data with anyone, and our tracking technology does not use cookies. Read the privacy policy to learn exactly what is gathered and who has access to it.
